SEA is a charity-based organization established in 1992 with the goal to protect, maintain and enhance the ecology of Prince Edward Island for the environmental, social, and economic well-being of Island residents. We seek funding for and lead projects to improve rivers, estuaries, trails, forests, and wetlands. We work with partners in various economic sectors including agriculture, aquaculture, tourism, education, transportation, and renewable energy.

Watershed Region: We manage the largest watershed region on Prince Edward Island at 73,139 hectares (13% of total PEI land area) which includes 33 sub-watershed units grouped into seven larger management regions: Boughton, Cardigan, Brudenell, Montague, Valleyfield, Sturgeon and Murray River.

Harvey Moore Wildlife Sanctuary: The Harvey Moore Wildlife Sanctuary is owned and operated by the Southeast Environmental Association.
