Sport Field Technician (Seasonal)

The Seasonal Sport Field Technician reports to the Public Works Supervisor and/or Special Events and Facilities Coordinator and is responsible for maintaining municipal sport fields. Duties include grass cutting, field dragging, and line marking for baseball and softball diamonds, as well as safely operating and maintaining turf equipment. The role requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation, while following daily direction on maintenance priorities and assigned tasks.

Salary: $18/hour
Duration: May to September

Splash Pad/Park Attendant

The Splash Pad/Park Attendant is a seasonal position reporting to the Recreation Director, responsible for providing excellent customer service, greeting guests, and ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment at the Splash Pad, playground, and skatepark. Duties include enforcing rules, monitoring attendance, assisting with maintenance and housekeeping, responding to emergencies, and supporting special events. The role requires professionalism, teamwork, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Public Works Seasonal Gardens

The Seasonal Gardener reports to the Public Works Supervisor and/or Municipal Gardener and is responsible for a variety of horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks, including grass cutting, trimming, and maintaining flower beds, trees, and landscaped areas. The role involves safely operating and maintaining equipment while ensuring all assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Working under daily direction, the Seasonal Gardener contributes to the upkeep and beautification of Town-owned properties through efficient and professional work.

Must be 18+ with a valid drivers license.

Salary: $18/hour
