CANCELLED – Unfortunately at this time, the Nao Trinidad will not be sailing into Georgetown.

The Nao Trinidad, a replica of the captain ship of what was called the Armada del Maluco (1519-1522) commanded by Ferdinand Magellan, is expected to arrive in Georgetown on Friday, September 30.

The life-size replica weighs 200 tons, is over 95 feet long, and has four masts, five sails, and five decks. This ship is sailing as a floating museum of Spanish maritime heritage and has visited dozens of ports in Spain, Mexico, the United States, and Europe.

Public tours will be open at the Georgetown wharf.  A portion of the tour proceeds will go to Georgetown Cardigan Minor Hockey and the Three Rivers Sportsplex. More information on the public tours.

The Kings Playhouse will be hosting a fundraiser event on board the Ship. The evening will feature live music, dance, food, and drink. View the Facebook event for more information.
