Upon the amalgamation of Three Rivers, there were a series of bylaws in existence from the previous municipalities. The Town Council has been consistently reviewing bylaws and creating Three Rivers versions.
Over the next few months, Council is looking to review and create bylaws for Three Rivers in three areas:
- Dangerous, Hazardous and Unsightly Premises Bylaw
- Parking and Traffic Control Bylaw
- Nuisance and Noise Control Bylaw
Seeking community input
Council and staff are looking for the input of community members on the bylaw consultation process for Three Rivers. Please consider and provide feedback on aspects such as:
- What measures/restrictions do you think should be included in the Three Rivers versions?
- Should the same bylaw apply to all areas of Three Rivers? Should any part(s) of these bylaws apply to any part of Three Rivers outside of Montague and Georgetown?
- Is there a group of people or organization that we should reach out to directly to make them aware of this consultation process?
- Any other comments you wish to provide.
The deadline for Submissions is February 28, 2022.
Please submit all input via email to jmarks@threeriverspei.com or deliver to 36 Kent Street, Georgetown, or 25 Queens Road, Montague.
