Public Meeting Process
Public access to Council and Committee meetings is permitted within the following parameters:
All posted signage must be obeyed.
Meeting agendas will be posted to the website on the Thursday afternoon before a meeting (or a minimum of 24 hours in advance of meeting).

Delegations or persons wishing to speak before Council must advise the CAO or their designate of their intention to do so by 3:00 pm on the Friday prior to the meeting by calling the Town office at 838-2528.
Council values your input. Registered speakers are allotted five (5) minutes to present their views. During the presentation, Council members will not engage in dialogue or debate but may ask questions afterward. To ensure a productive and respectful discussion, speakers are encouraged to maintain a professional tone, avoid personal attacks, and focus on matters within the jurisdiction of the municipal government. While a speaker is presenting, all others in attendance must remain quiet and seated to allow the speaker to be heard clearly.
CONDUCT DURING COUNCIL MEETINGS
All persons in the public gallery at a Council meeting will:
a) refrain from addressing Council or a member of Council unless permitted to do so by the Mayor or Chairperson;
b) maintain quiet and order;
c) refrain from disturbing the proceedings by words, gestures or actions including applauding, displaying flags, placards or similar material;
d) refrain from talking on electronic mobile devices and,
e) ensure that all electronic devices are silent and operated in such a manner that does not interfere with the meeting or with another person’s ability to hear or view the proceedings.
If you are unable to attend a meeting but wish to send your remarks to Council, you are welcome to email or call the Municipal Offices with input for Council anytime.
